Police raided a drug packaging and distribution center in Tsim Sha Tsui on Thursday evening and confiscated around HK$1 million (US$128,259) worth of drugs.

Officers seized 7.7kg of cannabis resin, 1.4kg of cannabis, 11 grams of cocaine and 28 grams of Ice after an anti-triad police team swooped on a subdivided flat in Tsim Sha Tsui Mansion on Nathan Road.

People in the flat had fled before the raid and police believed a gang of South Asians, who were arrested on Saturday, were connected to the distribution center. 

Last Saturday, six Pakistani men were arrested in two police operations in Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei in Kowloon on Saturday on suspicion of possessing, trafficking and selling drugs.
