An Indonesian man was arrested after stabbing his Indonesian colleague during a fight that broke out at a hotel in Jalan Bagan Luar in Malaysia last week.

At 9:05pm on June 1, the 25-year-old Indonesian man stabbed his 29-year-old colleague during a fight and was quickly arrested, while the man he stabbed was taken to Hospital Seberang Jaya for treatment, The Sun Daily reported.

According to Noorzainy Mohd Noor, the Seberang Perai Utara District Police Chief, the fight broke out due to a status update the victim uploaded on his Facebook, which angered his friend.

“The suspect used a penknife to stab the victim and the fight between the two men was broken up by their friends,” Noor said. Police recovered the knife used in the incident and a phone that belonged to the suspect.
