A 42-year-old woman was arrested for alleged drug trafficking in Western District on Hong Kong Island on Thursday.
At 4pm, officers from the special duty unit of the Central Police District raided an apartment on Cadogan Street in Sai Wan and confiscated illegal drugs, news website HK01.com reported.
A total of 30 grams of suspected cocaine and 20 grams of suspected ecstasy with a street value of around HK$30,000 (US$3,829) were seized.
Officers also confiscated cash and foreign currencies worth about HK$140,000 in the apartment, as well as some tools for packaging and two electronic scales.
They arrested a woman found in the house for alleged drug trafficking and detained her pending further investigation. Local media reports did not mention her nationality.
Police officers believe they have busted a drug distribution center which supplies illegal narcotics to nightlife establishments in Central and Western districts.
