Authorities in Kuwait have issued an arrest warrant for a police officer accused of raping a Filipina at Kuwait International Airport.

According to the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait, an arrest warrant was issued for 22-year-old Fayed Naser Hamad Alajmy, inquirer.net reported.

On June 4, 2018, Alajmy was assigned to assist the Filipina with the fingerprint scan registration procedure at the airport. He then abducted her and raped her.
