Cyberspace has taken luxury labels into a brave new world of digital razzle-dazzle.
From Gucci to Chanel and from Rolex to Tiffany, these blue-chip brands dominate the top ten list for 2019 from LUXE Digital, which specializes in the high life.
“Nothing can predict sales and future growth for a luxury brand quite as well as its popularity online,” the marketing and communications website reported.
“That’s why we have analyzed how the world’s top luxury brands are ranking online and what’s making them so popular among affluent consumers in 2019,” it added,
LUXE came up with three key criteria such as web traffic, social media figures based on analytics from Rival IQ and social media engagement. Web traffic was for the first half of 2018 based on date from SimilarWeb, while the other figures were as of August 2018.
According to the numbers, the leading five labels managed to capture more than 60% of affluent customers online.
“How do we estimate the online popularity of a luxury brand? We took into account a combination of brand value, search share of voice and social media conversations to create this list,” LUXE Digital said.
